Q. What do you think your room says about you?

- What my room says about me? It says too much, it really represents me in most aspects, the shot of my dresser in particular since thats my corner of the room. I find myself always adding to it while still keeping things from my childhood like Bionicles. I’m into a lot of different random stuff and I love adding it into my room somehow through stickers and other stuff I can display. If my room said anything about me in particular it would be the phrase "disorganized-ly organized", I think that applies to me when you look at my dresser.

Q.Do you think your future room will have the same qualities as your room now?

- For a future room, I don't plan on bringing anything with me from the old one, except maybe the books. I'd want to have a new theme, maybe pastel, but it really depends on what kinda dresser I get.

Q. In some photographs, I may have asked you what items or pieces of your room meant the most to you, why did you choose those items? What connection do you have with these objects?

- I already mentioned above but my dresser is super important to me, since I share my room, it's the only corner I have 100% control over, and it's completely customized starting from when I was a kid. I like looking at the stickers and remembering how I got them.

Q. Did you clean your room before it was photographed? I gave no instruction to clean or prepare your room in any way. If you did choose to clean it why? And if you didn't choose to clean it, how come?

- I was thinking about cleaning my room, but I ended up just lint rolling it since my dog sleeps on the bottom bunk, I figured I'd leave it pretty much natural since I wanted to give my authentic self.

Q. Are you home often? (if so why?) Do you spend the most time in your room or elsewhere?(if so why?)

- I’m home pretty averagely when I’m not out skating or with people close to me. I'm in my room almost entirely when I am home though, there's nothing too interesting about any other rooms and I don’t watch TV or anything, just use my computer a lot.

Q. Would you say you're proud of your room? Do you feel like it suits you well? (alternate question: do you feel like it is a good representation of who you are/how you project yourself?)

- I’m super proud of my room, I think it represents me pretty well, and I feel pretty comfortable in it. I wonder what the other people said and why someone wouldn't ya know? It's the one thing thats yours as you grow up, even if you share it like me.

Q. How do you feel about where you are in life right now? Are you content with how everything is going and how you are portrayed?

- I’m pretty comfy in my life right now, you definitely got me at a good time though. I got into a relationship recently and also got my first job this week. My creative outlets are a little rusty though, it's been awhile since I’ve been motivated to work on anything "Fiend Boy" related like music or clothing.

Q. What genre or groups do you think you belong to?

- I think this is something incredibly hard to answer, when you’re a kid there’s cliques and stuff, but I'm not sure if I belong to any group in particular. My image definitely transitions from vintage goodwill finds to punk to streetwear to pastel to cross dressing if I feel like it to be honest. I think labels are lame anyway, I’m just me and everyone else is themselves.

Q. Do you consider yourself a social person, or do you fall somewhere in between social and antisocial?

- I’m a weird cross between social and anti social, which kinda sucks. I love hanging out with friends and meeting new people but it drains my energy slowly. Maybe I’m just not used to it though, I don’t have a lot of friends.

Q. Why did you want to be a part of this series?

- I wanted to be a part of this project because I’m trying to be a "yes" person. Like I don’t get a lot of random opportunities and especially end up acting on them, but I’m really trying to live actively now and this is a good example, it was totally fun to be a part of this project.

Q. How do you think you'll react to these photos later on in life?

- I think my biggest reaction will be that I needed a haircut, just kidding, but I think it’ll make me sad. I have a crazy fear of aging and growing up, hopefully it gets better though.

Q. Did you have any following statements about your room? Anything you want people to take away from these photos?

- Hmm, I guess the best takeaway here is enjoying creation. I feel like my room, especially my corner, can kind of look childish, but I enjoy looking at it every day and seeing myself within it. Not a lot of people have creative outlets and know what it’s like finishing some personal project, but everyone has a room, and there’s so much creative potential there.
